I used to have some great looking Corkscrew Vals in my aquascape but they seem to be disappearing and not growing. What can I do to get them to grow into the once nice crop I used to have???

My parameters are:

GH-6deg.
KH-6deg.
pH-6.8-7.0
CO2 injection (measured by measurment of Kh/pH)

Also the Cryptoryne Wendtii seem to not like CO2 (comments on this subject please)

I would suggest adding gravel fertilizer tabs. Both vals and crypts are heavy root feeders so they will definitely help.

You can use ones from local fish stores, like Flourish tabs, or save a bunch of money and get Jobes Spikes for Lush Ferns. You have to be careful to bury these well and not get them into your water.

I do use the Jobe Spikes. I also have Flourite as my substrate.

When was the last time you changed your light bulbs?

Sean

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

It's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

That IS an aquascape, it's titled "The Vacant Lot".
