I just came across your forum here and I think I found a home. I quickly reviewed some topics and really liked the involvement and positive and informative posts. Unfortunately I am just getting ready to leave for a quick trip but this will be my first stop when I get back.

I have been keeping tanks for some 30 years having 10 through 120 gallon size tanks. Sold my reef setup when we moved 5 years ago and just now getting back in. As I have tried a lot of types of tanks we never had a planted tank and it is real appealing to my wife and I. (Thus the reason this forum stands out) Have not decided on a tank size yet but because of room it will be a 30 long or 55 gallon. I already have a 5 pound CO2 bottle and regulator but need a fine needle metering valve yet. So I will be having some questions for you all.

Welcome, TeeItUp. (And maybe we can sneak in some golf talk!)

As Cruizer says, don't be disappointed when looking for answers, because we'll give you a whole bunch of them that will all contradict each other!

(BTW - definitely go w/ the 55.)
