If you go to photo album, there are many examples of this. If you look in my journal you will see that I have java fern growing on driftwood in my tank.

I have javamoss growing on the glass, where I didn't scrape the greenspot algae off, for a long time.

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

It's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

That IS an aquascape, it's titled "The Vacant Lot".

Odd one SCMurphy, hehe. Hrm... idea - try to get a coating of green-spot on the back glass and grow java moss from it for a Java Moss background.

It's happening in the 'Vacant Lot' tank, it's just hard to see it with all the other plants in the way. A new member of our club stopped by so I could give him a bucket of plants to try, and he was more interested in the javamoss on the glass then the odd crypts I had for him.

Come to think of it, the other night even Ghazanfar was asking how I did it, like it was something I was trying to do. Sadly, I look at java moss like I look at algae, riccia and duckweed, compost pile additive.
