Brackish plants

What are some possible plants that could survive in brackish water? And eventually the SG would be slowly raised over the years to turn into a full marine tank, as the species I want in the tank require it. Thoughts?

I've seen some brackish tanks where Vals and Java ferns were successfully (and slowly) acclimated. I don't know that any would survive full on salt other than Mangrove trees, though. Maybe start introducing some seaweeds and sea grasses at some point?

I'm growing Hygro Sunset in a brackish crab tank. It seems to be growing just fine.

If you intend to eventually go to a full salt water environment you migh as well just do it. I will give a link to brackish water plants but 98% wil die in full salt water.

BTW: Their shipping is too high and I was giving this for the list of plants. But check what the shipping would be if the order is over $50 if that is what you had in mind.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...

There's lots of plants that will grow in brackish up to 1.009 such as anubias, java ferns, hygros, vals, bacopa, ludwigia just to name a few, You just need to slowly acclimate them, Now none of these will survive full marine salt levels, If you want to grow plants and macro algeas in a marine setup then look into dragons breath, graciliaria , grape Calurpa and Calurpa prolifera are my favorites
