Hi All,

I've been following the thread that has been listing all the great LFS' in Orange county, but the OC is a LONG way from me.

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good shops a little further inland in Riverside or San Bernardino Counties?

I'm mainly looking for shops with a good selection of plants, but if they have a good stock of fish please mention them also.

I'll start it out.

I've found 2 good shops, 1 in Riverside and 1 in San Berdoo.

In Riverside is...

Fish Fantasy
7201 Arlington Suite C
(909) 509-4607

This is a great shop with a large selection of fish with very good prices.
They have a huge tank of Ghost Shrimp @ 7 for a buck.

In San Berdoo...

Elliott's Pet Emporium
891 So. "E" Street
(909) 383-2343

This is also a pretty cool shop. It's a little messy (leaking tanks Etc.) They're jam packed with tanks with a lot of variety, good selection of rocks also. And the prices are pretty good.

So If any one knows of some good ones please share them here.

Thanx, Cactusdoug

Hey Doug! I'm surprised you haven't gotten more responses. Perhaps this means that there aren't any good aquatic plant stores in that area! I found two on line... has anyone heard of either Pet World in San Bernadino or Sam's Tropical Fish in Ranch Cucamunga? Both say that they have aquatic plants...

Well its only been 4 hours, maybe others will chime in later.

I hadn't heard of those two,
I'll check them out the next time I go "Down The Hill".

Thanx, Doug

I have afriend that lives out in Corona/ Riverside who I JUST DISCOVERED is hugely into fish. She has 3 big tanks (the largest not set up yet, brand spankin' new). I'll ask her where she goes. I always wondered... geez, I think I'd go crazy.

I am going crazy

That's why I started this thread.

I've gotten a few plants here and there, mostly at a large chain fish store in Victorville.

But most of the good ones I have, I've gotten through private individuals on a couple of different forums mailing them to me.

But I would like to be able to find some place to able to see them before buying them.

Most of the large chain fish stores I've been to had dismal selections at best, usually covered in algae and or snails,
or terrestrial plants being sold as aquatic plants.

And what few smaller LFS' that I've found that had plants,
had either the most common plants or if they had something I wanted the prices were to high IMO.

Wonder Woman, please do let me know what you find out from your friend.

Thanx, Doug
