if i take cuttings from my plants and place them into a water bucket with some garden ferts and a clear plastic bag over the top.. some substrate etc will i be able to tie some cuttings and grow them in the buckets. i figured i could reproduce lots of the plants i have to build the back of the tank etc..

You would be much better off taking your cuttings and growing them in the tank.
