Biotope DIY question

Anyone have any ideas for creating a clay river bank that I intend to put in the back corner of a 55 gallon tank? I'm trying to create an Asia stream effect using red substrait (Flourite or SMS or both) and I want one side to be built up so it looks like a clay bank sloped toward the front and middle of the tank ... was thinking of creating a silicon bank with some sort of fine clay glued on to the sloping structure ... thoughts?

I'm currently working with Great Stuff insulating foam. With some molding tools and a Dremel, you can make almost anything, add small rocks, sand, I haven't found much that doesn't work!. It can even be painted with Krylon Fusion paint inside the aquarium. I'll post some pictures when I finish my projects, should be around this time next week.
