I do not know what "ATM colony" is, but "light feeding" suggest two things to me: small doses, infrequently. Unless you have a large scavenger population to feed, you should always pour in small quantities of food that the fish clean up in just a minute or so with almost nothing reaching the bottom. Fry generally want this multiple times per day, but I have a tank that gets by on just two or three doses per week.
Overfeeding is a common source of problems for beginners, so keep those doses small. If the tank is newly set up (without much in the way of micro-critters) then feed fry 3 or 4 times per day.
