Thermometers- Arrrgghh!!

Hello,

Does anybody know where I can order here in the U.S. Either a Sera or a JBL glass type thermometer with the suction cup? Seems I cannot find a way to order unless I pay $75 Euro minimum to get from Holland or Germany.

I know what you mean... I just got one of them (Sera Precision) from over there.

Not sure if they are for sale in the US. I might order a few more of them though, maybe I'll have some if there is demand.

Thanks guys, Yeah the website requires you to place an order for at least that much. I actually already ordered 4 thermometers from a lab supply site that come with a plastic cover that has a hole at the top for $7.00 each. i'm thinking I can use my extra Maxi-jet suction cups to snap into the hole to put in the tank I got 4 and 2 covers Because I know they can't be all accurate. At least I think.hope not I bought 4.....The problem with the other fish store type thermometers is that the suction cup craps out , then you have to buy a complete new one, can't buy just the suction cups.

This is the one I just got. I have another very, very similar one from JBL. Very easy to read, but only in Centigrades, not Fahrenheit.

But if you are only looking for suction cups, you should be able to find something online... if the holder is too large, you can use a small piece of right sized vinyl tubing to make it fit the thermometer.
