Hi all,
I am looking for some kinda base to attach Javafern/Anubias except drift wood. I don't like to use driftwood for my personal reason. I tried to attach on rock from lfs. But most of the rock has smooth surface and plant couldn't attach on them very well. Then I bought (Lemon rock??? the white one(ring) that sell on chain store). The plant attach to it well but the rock is very easy to break. I don't want those small pieces of rock chock my gold fish.
So I am thinking to get a small and rough surface rock that the plant can attach well. But I couldn't find anything easily until now.
What kinda of base should I use?

How about those lava rocks? I usually always see them at LFS/LPS.

anything else? I have seen a lot of rock. But I don't see the one that is good enough for plants to grow. Thanks.
