SnS + Algea on plants

So I just bought some plants from another member here on the swap n shop. I received two different types of plants (Ludwigia Repens and Rotala Indica). The Rotala looks pretty clean but there is a ton of algae on the Ludwigia. I looks like Staghorn and or hair algae. Some of it is long, black, and stringy like. Others look green and fuzzy.

The proportion sizes and health of the plants look quite nice but the algae is pretty nasty. I am really not sure how I want to rank this seller.

More importantly I want to know the best way I might save the plants. I am guessing either a hydrogen peroxide or bleach dip. The plants have also had a about 4 days in a dark box.

Any help would be great!

Thanks!!

Do you think you got a good deal and did you receive them as promised? If so a positive is justified.

Bleech dip will rid the plants of algae.

The quantity was just as expected, what wasn't expected was the algae and the high amount of it. It wasn't mentioned that "BTW I have some algae issues" or anything like that. Most sellers, sell a clean product, at least I do and everything thing else I have ever gotten. I might go with a neutral rating.

How do I go about the bleach dip?

I would message them first and see if they are willing to do something about it. Personally if I sell someone something and they aren't happy I want to know so I can do something about it rather then just finding out through negative feedback.

Having battled a lot of BBA, I would make sure it's not that b/f adding it to the tank. Does the algae pull off?
