The main inhabitants of my 30 are 6 bosemanii rainbows. 1 is older than the other 5, and is quite large. There is also a large albino bristle pleco, and several cories.

A few months back my sister asked me if I would take one of their old fish, as her daughter was taking down her tank. They brought over a bullseye catfish maybe 4" long, and said he spent most of his time motionless. I put him in with my rainbows. He apparently likes my food, as he's gotta be 6" long and quite thick. I read they are nocturnal, and he spends most of his time hanging under some wood with the bristle, or motionless, deep in the hygro. But late in the evening, several times he will come out from under the wood and follow the biggest bosemanii around, back and forth. I swear, it looks like he is saying "Can we play?" Cracks me up, every time.

Tho he has a huge mouth and an appetite to match, he has never shown any aggression towards any ofthe smaller fish, which would easily fit in his maw.

(Big dog fan here. Just learned last week that Daisy - our 10.5 yr old golden, has lymphoma, and we'll be putting her down in a matter of weeks/months.)

Lol I think they can sense fear and if you fear them then will over power you.
I have another theory im borned in 1991 making me the year of the sheep.
And in farm lands the dog always herds the sheeps by barking at it. So they bark at me for no feckin reason too..

One month in.

For the most part my fish hang out with their own species.

Panda cories and bronze cories occasionally shoal together.

My loaches like to tailgate any other mid-top dwelling fish during feed time--I think mostly to follow them for food. Sometimes my loaches like to follow pygmy cories around.

I dunno why they bite me , even a damn poodle scares the heck out of me. My godmother's poodle bit me at her party once , that dog literally stalked me through out that party

My pygmy cories occasionally like to hang around my black neons. I think the PCs think the BNs are big brothers as their coloring is similar (both have dark and light horizontal lines). The BNs aren't quite smart enough to notice but they don't seem unhappy about the attention.

I had a gay couple of German Blue Rams.

I think thats the weirdest you can get. They tried to lay eggs and everything, dug holes for nest sites etc.

And yes, they where both males.
