"mole" on dojo head?

Surely not. My gold dojo loach that I've had for years now has a large brown spot on his head - almost the size of his eye. I noticed it yesterday. Any ideas?

I have a otto that has a growth on her side. I say her because she has been seen carrying eggs.

Fish just like any biological creature has an opportunity for abnormal growth.

We just have to opportunity to look at specific individuals the ailment effects.

I don't know if this is uncomfortable or sign of a bigger problem.

Could be just your individual.

Third eye? Evolution? I don't know, but it doesn't seem like theres anything you can do for it.

Unfortunately, I think that's the truth. I'm just sad b/c he's my favorite fish and I've had him for years. I would hate to think that my planted tank lights gave the poor little guy skin cancer - he never chose to tan!
