will large loaches eat nerite snails?

I have some 3-4 inch clowns and tons of other smaller loaches in the tank.

Never liked nerites anyway, they leave eggs all over the place that are like lil hard shells stuck on everything and its hard to get it off. It gets very very unattractive.

I read this last post and was like "Huh? I haven't seen any eggs..."

Then, I walked over to the tank, looked around and found a few white things... then I saw that one of the snails was over one, as I was inspecting it... I saw another one pop out. I had no idea they'd leave eggs around. the place I bought them from said they would not reproduce... I guess if the eggs are just sitting around, that is true.

They will only hatch in brackish water. The little white eggs will disappear after a couple days, atleast mine did.

I gave my nerites to a friend because I brought home dwarf loaches. I don't like seeing my creature friends get eaten.

Do other creatures in the tank eat the eggs?
