Pin holes in rotala rotundifolia

I am getting pin size holes in the leaves of my Rotala. What could be the cause?

20 g tall tank newly soiled and planted just before Christmas
Organic potting soil w gravel cap
1T8 6500k 18inch light on about 10 hours a day

Ph 7.4-7.6
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 5

The fertilizers in the potting soil would last at least this long so I should not have to add fertilizers yet should I ?

5 neons
5 ottos
2 glofish

As far as I know, those are stem plants which means they get most of their nutrients from the water column....so dosing would help them... hope others chime in to confirm.....good luck

I've had this problem before too, I added potassium and now everything seems fine

Ok, I'll give that a try. I assume they sell potassium at the LFS?

I usually take bananas when I need potassium but I guess that won't work here. ;-) (that was a joke, honest)
