Lighting - the solution.

I had mention a few month ago that my plants were doing badly for a long time after I had cut them back. I couldn't understand what had happen. this weekend I spoke to the owner of BIg Als in Montreal and he asked me when was the last time I had changed the lights. It was almost a year now and it was not something I thought would be a concern. I changed the lights and right away I noticed that the light intensity was much brighter as when I first installed them. The thin plexiglass that covered the lights had turned yellowish brown and fell apart due to the heat. I will continue to monitor to see if my plants start to grow again and the algae disappears.

wish me luck.
