Aquarium Plant Sellers??

Hi everyone,

Other than fellow hobbyists, where do you purchase your aquarium plants from now-a-days? How would you say is the quality?

Thanks in advance,

Art

I've only placed 4 plant orders so far, but i did a ton of research before placing those orders.

Places I've ordered From:

Peabody's Paradise
Planted Aquariums Central
The Glosso Factory

Petsmart has very good dwarf hairgrass, pogostemon helferi and staurogyne repens . Don't pick the old ones though.

Bad experience with Planted Aquariums Central after reading a few thumbs up from members here. Wish I had done an unboxing video.
Peabodys or Firedupaquatics is where I plan on ordering next from if they ever get the plants I want in stock.

Checking the forums is a great place to start.

There are a few good sellers on here and aquabid, I personally get my plants for a member on here and a local club

I have never liked the sites that are designed to sell plants because unless you are looking for an exact (not so common) plant, they are typically very expensive

Thanks. How is the quality though? Getting a bunch with the stems ties at the bottom by a piece of metal placed there when they did a top cutting is not a good thing? Are friends in Europe have access to tissue cultures mature plants that help with the start up.

Reminder: vendor reviews - that includes forum members and sellers on other sites - are not permitted.

It's fine to list a site you've ordered from. Just don't review them.

This thread is closed because we've had to clean it up too many times.

OP: Please use the search function. You'll find plenty of helpful information that's been discussed previously.
