Brown algae help!

Hello, My tank is COVERED in brown algae. I stopped dosing ferts awhile ago and I have a DIY CO2 and excel. My plants are doing great and growing fast but the brown algae is literally covering everything. There are big clumps hanging off of my ludwigia. I use tap water with conditioner. temp is 80 degrees. It is a 10 gallon with 32 watt T5HO at 8 hours a day. It is on the tank wall and a few mm layer on every plant.
I did research and people said more light? or just wait?
I am not overfeeding.
tank is 2 months old.

Could be diatoms or you are missing a key fertilizer in yournwater

I have two amano shrimp. They are eating but it seems to be growing nonstop. two nerites are also working hard. The oto doesnt really do anything. I am not dosing macro ferts because i thought the flourite would take care of that. Should I start dosing?

That's a lot of watts over a 10g tank.

I only have 42 watts of T5HO light over my 46g bowfront. You have a small tank with a ton of high output light over it. I would cut back on the light.

You could raise the fixture up some to reduce the intensity. Do you have any fast growing stem plants? You need to outcompete the algae.

Well the ludwigia is growing incredibly fast and so is the glosso.
I just redid my whole tank. I didnt like the way it looked anyways so moved the fish out and all the plants. Rinsed everything. rescaped. replanted.
Tank is clean for now..... I have more plants coming in to help use up nutrients.
I rinsed the substrate 10 times and it kept making the water a super DARK brown.

The rescaped tank. Algae gone for now

Otocinclus love brown algae. Mine will clean up a plant with brown algae on it in less than a day. They love it!!!!!!!
Shrimp like Amano shrimp might help too.
If you do not want to get an oto then lower your lights for a while and add less ferts.
