Lightbulb decisions...descisions...

Ok I have narrowed down the choices of my foreground plant to these 3:
2 WPG and Diy co2 on 48G. What would your choice be? I want somthin fast growing.

Dwarf Hair Grass
Pygmy Chain Sword

I think in it's hard to tell which grows the fastest, as they have different growth requirements.

HC seems to grow the fastest w/ high light, CO2, ferts. I may be wrong.

Also, if you have fast growing plants, that means you have to do more trimming and more work, whereas slower growing means less maintenance.

100w on a 48 gallon with DIY CO2 - I do not think you will be able to grow a nice thick dense HC foreground.

I would go with dwarf hair grass, it will be the most likely to fill in quickly and make a nice foreground. The pygmy chain swords tend to look messy IMO, and get out of hand very quickly. Dwarf hair grass is not so obvious when it starts growing in places you don't want it.

The plural of anecdote is not data
