Those pics look amazing. And from the appearance Im thinking that is an albino Bristlenose Plecostomus. My local fish store just got some in and they are amzing fish.

the 1st is a "short fin" bushy nose. (that's what they call them around here at least Someone is breeding them locally...they are the hardest working fish you'll ever meet...not shy either like most pleco's.

I've got a "long fin" bushy nose, he's soooo cool looking...

NOTE: To do a *SEARCH* and get the answer you want, its often best to go to "Advanced Search" and search in the title only.

Regarding the 1st pleco, it's hard to tell really, due to the color. It appears that the light maybe in the 6000K range, which gives it and everything around it a yellowish color to it. There are many types of spotted plecos, include snowball, vampires, etc. I'm not sure if that would qualify as a bushy aka "brisstlenose" pleco, because even the females would have some kind of bushy protrusion. Of course, I'm no pleco expert. You should probably post the pleco photo at http://www.plecofanatics.com/forum and ask the experts there. I would also try to take another photo from different angles.

Juvenile "bristlenose" plecos have no "bristles".

That said, it's definitely NOT a vampire or similar. Looks like an Ancistrus species to me, but I don't know. This is a great link: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/

Try more spefically: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog...de=l&thumbs=16 And browse the thumbnails. I already looked through the LDA's and none are this fellow.
