CO2 for 10 gallon
I am going to start breaking down my 10 gallon in the next few months (most likely after my daughter is born in March and I'm healed up) and am wanting to use it as a "test" tank for my larger, 75 gallon that I'm in the process of re-sealing and piecing back together. I have a small planted tank, but don't use ferts, lighting or special substrate. It gets window light and only has crypts and java fern.
I want to jump straight into the deep end and go high-tech. What is a good CO2 system to purchase for a 10 gallon tank? I am looking to buy the entire system at one time rather than piecing it together and just need a general idea of what I'm looking for. I don't want to DIY and I'd prefer something that will last a while, though as long as it lasts longer than a month, I'll be happy.
EDIT - Just a side question, my water is really hard, will this affect me having plants or will the CO2 help soften it and keep the plants happy?
