not being a wet blanket. but i'd suggest reducing the number of plants you plan to have. i had 2 15gs, and neither looked good when i tried to place so many plants together.

there just isnt a focal point when mixing so many species together. and you might want to check out the thread on amano's notes too.

it seems to me more plants in the beginning to stave off algae for the first few months is good, you can always remove...I guess the "style" you are going for depends...minimilistic like Amano, or Dutch, or jungle...a tank is like art no need for everyone's to look the same! It seems for the most part this isn't your first rodeo so you probably know what you are aiming for in your mind, so go for it....if you are looking for inspiration look thru the "photo" sub-forum here at other people's tanks

NOTE: To do a *SEARCH* and get the answer you want, its often best to go to "Advanced Search" and search in the title only.

The only comment I can offer is on the C. helferi. I currently have 4 in a 58 gallon and they're almost too large for that so, 25 in a 15 gallon would completely fill it and then some. You might be able to do 1 if your tank is tall, rather than long. I look forward to seeing some pics of your progress once you start getting it going!
