new 75g setup, need some advice

ok, redoing a 75g in the beginning of November

I've got about 240w T8, CO2 and ferts.....Here is my plant list..Basically I'm wondering if this setup would be ok for the EI method or if I should proceed with caution with ferts and tone down the lighting in the beginning.....It's going to be a discus tank eventually..I got overrun by algae with my last setup so I'm starting again with hardier plants...

1 Wendtii, Red (Cryptocoryne wendtii)
1 Wendtii, Green (Cryptocoryne wendtii)
1 Sword, Amazon Sword (Echinodorus bleheri)
1 Sword, Amazon Compacta (Echinodorus bleheri 'compacta')
1 Java Fern (Microsorium pteropus)
1 Sword, Red Melon (Echinodorus Barthii v. "red melon")
1 Pennywort, Brazilian (Hydrocotyle Leucocephala)
1 Ludwigia Peruensis (Ludwigia peruensis)
1 Sag, Dwarf Subulata (Sagittaria subulata)(10 plants per order)
2 Green Temple Narrow (Hygro Corombosa)'s own: Substrate Fertilizer Tablets

As far as you plant list goes its pretty are right they are hardier plants.....but an algae problem isnt due to the plants...its due to an imbalance some where in your system, whether it be light, CO2, or ferts. I would definately get more fast growing stem plants in there. I would double or triple that hygro, add some Ludwigia repens, rotala indica, etc...The more fast growing stem plants you can pack in there the better. As far as dosing goes your set up is a little bit over 3 watts per gallon so I would go with the EI method. Good luck and post pics....I would love to see how a 75 looks with T5s on it....been thinking about that for a while now...
