What do baby Malaysian Trumpet Snails look like?

I've had my 55G tank up and running for almost two weeks now and I've been noticing baby snails ... I put Malaysian Trumpet Snails in there on purpose, however, I'm suspecting these babies might be hitchhiker pond snails ... not sure though. So I was wondering if anyone has pictures of what baby Malaysian Trumpet Snails look like ... the size of snails that I'm finding is about 1 to 2 mm (1/16 of an inch or so) ... I know it's quite small so all snails might look the same at that size ... but it's worth asking.

Thanks,
Harry

They look just like grown up MTS just smaller. There is a really good chance that it is bady MTS since they reproduce like crazy if there is plenty for them to eat.

Whats this green fuzzy stuff thats growing in my tank.

from a distance, on the front of your glass, they look like tiny triangles. If you have tiny circles or tiny ovals, you have something else.

I found one that's slightly more grown up and it's definately pond snails ... are they bad for plants? Or are they more or less harmless and useless If they are harmfull to plants is there any fish that will eat snails but leave shrimp alone?

Thanks,
Harry

These responses remind me of the "What does Pete look like?" thread.

Unfortunately, it seems that most things that kill/eat snails will kill/eat shrimp just as much if not more. In fact, I would say that things that eat snails will always eat shrimp, but things that eat shrimp will not always eat snails.

Please correct me if I am wrong, someone.

Also, this thread doesn't match the "What does Pete Look Like" thread at ALL. It was just lots of people posting similar answers at the same time.

Edit: Most pond snails won't bother your plants, they're just gross and get all over everything and clog up your filter with their bodies and ... ew. I've been in several pet stores looking for a friggin' dwarf puffer for months...

I didn't say it was like it. I said it reminded me of it. Some of the responses in that thread are pretty funny.
