Microbubbles

I set up a new tank 2 weeks ago using the plants and substrate from my old tank.. It's 20L. I am having a problem with microbubbles clouding the water somewhat. There are 2 HOB filters on the tank and I shut each one off for 2 days each to see if it made a difference and to see if it was either of the filters causing the bubbles. the bubbles persisted the whole time. Everthing else seems OK. What could be causing the bubbles?

I guess I should add that I have a DIY CO2 reactor made from a 1 L Pepsi bottle running through an airstone. It just doesn't seem like that would cause so many bubbles.

I will take a look but I've seen bubbles come from the plants before and these are MUCH smaller.

In my case I believe the microbubbles I'm getting are nothing more than bubbles from plants pearling then getting blown around by the filter pump. Is that a good thing?
