New plant dieing off?

I have a 20 gallon planted tank. I added a few new stem plants two days ago. I don't remember the name sorry to say. All my other plants are doing great but the new ones seem to be dieing quickly. Anyone have any ideas if this is normal when you first plant them like crypt melt or if I have another problem? I have 2 t5ho bulbs (6500k) 7 hrs on, dosing excel every day, and dosing flourish comp once a week. Thanks for any help. I've added a pic of the plant in question. Thanks for any help.

Since your other plants are doing fine, I'm thinking just new home melt. Watch the new growth though, just incase

(PS I LOVE this tank. It's awesome)

That's because parrots feather grows above the water and it will drop it's needle like leaves when they are submerged. It will continue to grow as it's reaching for the surface but the lower portion will look like crap.

All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death life is only a dream which is an imagination of ourselves. Bill Hicks
