Brown hygro leafs curling up. What deficiency?

So I have a 40b high tech and as I'm still getting the hang of this new tank. Everything at the moment is really not doing well. Lots of plants I throw in the tank melt within days. But this brown hygro I got back in November has hung in there but is stunted. But the new leafs coming in have a hard core leaf curl up. I have searched google and the forum and have not really found a good answer.

I have seen could be a calcium deficiency? My tap water is very hard so maybe this?

Could it be a Mg deficiency?

I'll try and answer any questions the the best of my knowledge here is a pic.

Terrible picture taken from an ipad. If you full size it you should be able to see it. Thanks for any input!
