I found these while on a walk today at the pond across the road. We brought some back and cleaned them and put them in one of the aquariums. The curviceps that are in this tank LOVE the one that looks like hairgrass to me. One of them has been diving into the sand and throwing it everywhere around this plant. I think that this spring summer i might have alot of fun checking out this pond! It looks like there will be something similar to vals growing when its warmer. Right now they all just looked dead.
this one I found growing on the bank and underwater. The one on the bank had leaves that were slighty bigger and more rounded. Both of them were growing horizontal.
This one had a root that was really long. It had what looked to be more plants coming up all along it. It was underwater but the top was out.
this one is really as purple as it looks in this picture. I found it growing close the bank completey submerged. I hope it takes off!
