What's growing on my moss? Not algae..

I was away for a short trip for two days. Just recently before I noticed two cherry shrimps berried. When I came back and turned on the light I saw a baby shrimp. Not only that, there are also these worm like things attached to my java moss. They haven't moved in the 24 hours since I first saw them. They are just attached to the moss and move with the current. I don't think its planaria or nematodes but I could be incorrect. Any insight?

Picture of baby shrimp:

Thanks
Anthony

You might need to find a magnifying glass to look at them. It may be in dreaded "Hydra".
Can't say that I know why people talk bad about them though. Seems as though they think that the creatures eat
baby shrimp, but about that I have no experience. Look like a miniature palm tree when viewed/w a magnifying glass.
Seems those "limbs" have stingers on them which they catch daphnia/w.
The picture is not clear enough to tell if that is what it is. Walmart likely has a magnifying glass in/w the stationery.

Baby shrimp are so cool. You never seem to see one between that size and almost 1/2" long. Seems they hide between those ages.
Recently put 5 RCS in a tank(which had none) and saw just one of the babies once, a couple of weeks ago. Now I can count about ten
which are just under 1/2" long.
