When i bought this plant a month ago I believe it was listed as being emersed. It has been growing fairly well. Does anyone know what it is?

I think its Limnophila aromatica. Grows both emersed and submersed.

I have a problem with these growing diagonally is this normal?

29 Gallon Standard Moderate Light Planted tank
Lighting: 2x27 Watt 6500k P.C. Lights of America Outdoor Fixtures. 2x 20 Watt N.O. Flor. w/ Sylvania Gro Bulbs (9350k I think). Both are retrofited into a diy 12" tall canopy, with a 4" Diameter Clip on fan facing the opening in the back to circulate the excessive heat from the lighting.
Filtration: Tetra Tech 150 (modified to make very little disturbance.
Aquarium Systems Mini-jet for more circulation.

Hey Eric
where'd you pick the limnophilia up from?

plantastic
how much light do you have going? ive noticed that with some plants if you have a ton of light, im talking like 4 watts per gallon, they refuse to grow straight up.

Ptahkeem,

I have them under 96 watts of power compact lighting in a 29 gallon. I do pressurized Co2 and measure every 3rd day and it is hovering around 25ppm, Do 50% water change weekly. Dose flourish Iron 2x weekly. Dose 2 caps of flourish K everyday. Do Kent Botanica Micro's once weekly since my water is pretty high kh wise and overall mineral rich. One thing Im skimp on is Phosphate measures 0.5 with a red sea test, will be picking up some suppliment for this soon. Nitrate hovers at 12.5mg/l which I use the fish waste and food to suppliment.

LiquidEric,

Thats where I got mine from too! I was so excited to find them I let them pick em out for me and didnt notice till I got home that they had hair algae on them, now I have a minor hair algae problem!!
