Doing A Complete Rescape

I am considering doing a complete rescape of the 20L.

The link is in my signature.

Basically, I want to take all the fish and plants out. Do a good h202 dip on all the plants rocks and wood. Then reinstall everything.

The tank is a dirted 20L caped with black diamond.

On the other hand, I could fight the stag horn/BBA.

I'm not sure what would be the best route...

What are your thoughts?

I've never done anything to this extent before...

If it's dirted you might wanna fight the algae imo because once you start ripping plants up your gonna mix that blasting sand and did together wasting your cap unless you have more sand to go down on top that may work, I'd try and save the substrate but that's me, on the other hand I have pulled plants very carefully from dirt before without a problem you just need to be careful. How new is the dirt you put in the tank?

If its a few months old you might be able to just scrap all of your dirt and blasting sand and rip everything out and then redo your substrate...

If you dont wanna do that try uprooting a few plants very slowly to see how much dirt will be brought up if its not bad i say go for it then do what you gotta do and then water change once a day for five days after your all finished
