Hi,
This question is the only one that is keeping me from finishing my DIy C02. It would be 2L bottle and i am worried that for a 20 gallon high that would serioulsly mess up my ph. Any comments are welcome

Why do you think so? If the kH is above zero, it is not very likely that you will "mess up your pH". Of course you will need a pH and kH tester when getting started to verify that.

What will be your method to dissolve CO2 in the tank?

With dual air injection (sounds like we're talking about cars...) and HOB it will be difficult to raise CO2 levels above what they are right now. I doubt you would see any effect on the pH (and plants for that matter).

First, you need adequate light.

Then, lots of plants.

Then you might want to turn off the air bubbling, since that drives all CO2 out of the water. Even the waterfall created by your HOB filter works against CO2. Even worse if it has a "biowheel".

Then start looking into CO2. Here is a good place to start: http://www.qsl.net/w2wdx/aquaria/diyco2.html
