Weeping Moss In Stock Fluval Spec V

I was wondering if I can successfully grow weeping moss in my fluval spec V with stock LEDs? If it helps, the par reading is supposed to be 12-15 at substrate and I will be growing them on a drift wood about half way to the top.

I am not running any ferts or CO2 because it's an office tank. I can do excel if necessary, but for sure no ferts.

Water is RO water with GH booster, ideal for CRS. Temp mid-70s.

All I have in there are Cherries and CRS.

I don't know about weeping moss per se, but my mosses were kind of spindly looking in my spec v with stock lighting. My crypts and anubias did fine.

Yes it will be fine. some micros, mild nitrogen and phosphate supplementing would benefit it greatly. Positioning under indirect flow would be an ideal spot.

ya I can handle a little bit of Flourish and Excel dosing weekly. Probably just get the plant pack.

Thanks!
