Desert Island Tank

Hi,

I'm a returning planted tank aficionado [ FKA:figgy] and have a dilemma for y'all:

You have room for only one planted tank in your new teeny tiny home. What would it be? You have a gorgoeus piece of wood with a thriving java moss jungle attached to it which you would hate to sacrifice. it's about 18 inches long...

What to do?

What size tank can fit in you teeny tiny home? Once you figure that out the possibilities are almost endless.

wondering about the possibilities of standing my marvey piece of mossy wood upright in a tall hex....as I recall, that's sort of a no no for lighting....

get a 20gal high tank;
24"long 12"wide 18"high
this is a nice standard size,
then put the wood diagonally.

I've got a 29 like that now...the dh wants it gone. besides, I'm looking for a big change, not sure what exactly... but upright takes less floor space.

there's a 20g extra high
20"long 10"wide 24"high
that's like two 10gal
on top of each other

otherwise ditch the wood
and just get a nano tank.
I would avoid Hex tanks.
