I hooked up my external DIY CO2 reactor tonight on my XP2.

The XP2 uses clear hose.

What I always thought were air bubbles on the output tube side -- upon closer inspection with a flashlight -- are actually white-ish blobs similar to yeast cultures.

The entire output tube has it.

Is this "good" bacteria or should I clean that gunk out ????
I've had algae problems for quite a while.

The white stuff doesn't harm the tank, but you might want to run the DIY output through a bubble counter, just a bubble filled with water, to clean the CO2 and reduce the bacteria buildup.

I use pressurized CO2, and it was hooked to an internal reactor on the other side of the tank.

So I dont think the white globs are yeast cultures...

If they were yeast, I'd expect them on the input side as well.
That side is clean.

Hehe I read DIY... interesting. So you had a reactor in the tank, and switched to an inline reactor just now? Then it might not be CO2 related at all... hope you can figure out what's causing it.

if you're using pressurized CO2, and the reactor is the DIY part (which is how I read it)...there's no way those are yeast globs, as yeast is only used in DIY CO2 setups.
