What can I grow?

List of items

1 55 gallon tank (standard)
1 Rena XP3 Canister Filter
2 1x55 AH supply light kit (2x55) Mounted end to end
3-4 inches of SMS Charcoal
1 medium piece of driftwood

I know it's not alot of light. I'm looking for somewhat easy keeping plants. I plan to dose dry ferts. Possible co2?

Help please!

I woke up one morning and realized my living room turned into a fish store!!! HELP!!!!

You can grow a lot with that setup, especially if you're willing to add a little CO2. I limit myself to medium or easier plants (all my tanks run roughly that amount of light). There are more plants that will do well for me than I have room to keep.

Easy: swords, crypts, java ferns, most types of hygro, bacopa, apongetons, lillies,

If you'll add the CO2, you can add more types of stem plants: mayaca, broad leaf stellata, aromatica, pearl weed, dwarf lobellia, hydrocotyle, blyxa, hair grass, the easier ludwigias and rotalas.

I've left out quite a few, but that's a start.

Depending on your CO2 and water parameters, pretty much anything.

In college....so no aquariums for a while.....

Add some co2 and you should be able to grow a ton of different plants.

Ok, I can slap in pressurized co2. Already have the setup. Removed it from a 10 gallon about a week ago.

Water parameters. I have RO/DI water, and I set it to ph 7.0-7.2 (depends on how bad my hands are shaking at the time) Kh of 3-4 and GH of about the same.

Thanks for the input. Will start looking at getting some stuff in this tank.
