I will change one thing about what epicfish said.

Flourish = Trace mineral supplement.

Take a few minutes and read my Guide. Nutrients and fertilizers are covered in there.

what about root tabs, wat do they do? someone told me that they restore the nutrients in the substrate, is this true? also, do you have to eventually change your substrate to get nutrients?

So, if I'm dosing Flourish. Should I not be dosing Flourish Trace?

Root tabs are Fertilizers, Are little plugs you put next to the root so the root could absorb the nutrients.They do run out in couple of months

Well eventually you'll have to change the substrate atfer longtime use

One month in.

There are Flourish Nitrogen, Potassium, Phosphorus, Arent these the same as Kno3,KH2PO4

Then there is Flourish, Then there is Flourish trace

If the regular Flourish is what Rex is Refering too. Then ok

One month in.

The others have already gave great advice here but in addition I would add this for your future reference:

The only stupid question is the one not asked.
