I can't compare, since I have only experience with one of them.

But the AP kit is very easy to use... you just count the number of drops (titration method) until the color changes from blue to yellow. The annoying thing is that you need to shake the glass after each drop, and the plastic stopper that they use is not very good, a little bit always spills out. Just need to use a little bit of tissue...

Hey Wasserpest,

Does you AP kit come with a color chart to show what degree of yellow you should get?

I have the AP kit and it does not have a color chart, although on the outside it says in the contents: color chart...

You don't need a color chart. As soon as it goes from blue to yellow, you're done. Sometimes you will get a very subtle change to green, in which case you can just add another drop and add another half to your dKH reading.

but when it turns to yellow at first, it is a very light yellow ...but the kit says bright yellow so I kept adding...
