I notice kind of a blotchy oily water surface in my tank. I noticed it last week and after the water change it was gone. After a few days I see it is back again. It is nothing major but it is there. I do have a surface extractor and water movement. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Ken

Yeah I've heard of this before. Take some paper towel and put it over the water to collect the substance. Not sure what it is but this method has been used before.

Hope that helps.
