mondo grass

my LFS recommended mondo grass for my aquarium and i now have two small plants doing just fine in my 20H for about a week. like a moron, i did my research after i bought the plants and now i know they are not truly aquatic, so i anticipate moving them from the aquarium eventually. Question: what plant might i find in a LFS (mine does have a good selection) that will give the same or a similar appearance, and is aquatic? I would like small bushy plants that will grow in empty spots at the front corner of my tank.

Also, if you have a suggestion for a bushy plant to go center stage in the tank that would be helpful.

Stats: 46w in the form of two compact flouros, daylight spectrum
substrate is flourite, with a patch of sandbox sand in the front center
no CO2 (yet) no ferts
5 zebra danios, and a few snails...i'm going to add a pair of kribs if i can ever find a female
plants: anubias nana, 2 mondo grass, and red ludwiga, plus a few i pulled from my other tank whose name is long forgotten

Dwarf Sagittaria would probably fit the bill. I have some baby plantlets in my 2.5g. Some pics in the journal below. I think they will grow fairly tall given time and proper support.

Maybe some of this plant for the replacement if your LFS has it they can order it probably to. http://www.aquahobby.com/garden/e_Blyxa_japonica.php

For the Center plant I would go with a single Cryptocoryne beckettii(will work with your current lighting)
or some other red plant if your LFS can get them like the Barclaya longifolia.(requires strong light so you may have to upgrade/add some)

I agree Blyxa is your closest bet. Not the same color but it does have the same appearance.
