$5 ? that's impossible.

How can a large fragile item that has to be
shipped from the mainland be so cheap

perhaps that's another wood
that is native to the Islands.

But spy-- I'm in California right now, for school

I'm living the typical hawai'i spoiled-prat life-cycle-- grow up in the islands, going to Punahou or Iolani, then because you have asian parents and there's only UH in Hawai'i, you work your *** off to get the GPA, the extra-currics, the SAT scores, than go to some elite college on the mainland and hope you can make a load of money after graduating and eventually find your way back to the islands to meet a nice girl, get married, and start the cycle all over again. You know, it's like the Migratory Whales.

OIC, yeah that wood is from SO Cal so they are as cheap there as Maple leaves are here in NYC.
nice purchase. don't be afraid to break it up into a different arrangement so it works in your tank.

Yup-- that thing wouldn't fit in a 60cm anyway as it stands. I'll probably leave it at a friends house over the summer, and think about how (or if) to use it next september. Too annoying to try take it home.

just break it up into 12-18" twigs and sell it here or on aquabid for $50
get 1000% on your investment. I'm sure your parents would be proud.
