I was wondering what the break down of the wpg rule is one you start getting into big tanks of this size? I'd like to get at least 4.5-5 wpg onto a 90 gallon tank to do that I know the min would be a 96x5 CF setup.

For some reason I don't think it woudl work out that way though! Anyone know what to do?

I think 5wpg would be suicide  I have 3WPG over my 120gallon and I have yet to find anything that will not grow in it...

I agree with wellbiz here. If I were you I would go with a 4x55 AH Supply setup and see how it goes. If you need more light then get more. But I think that you will find that the 220 watts will grow just about anything you want to grow. And if your 90 is a standard size then the 55 watt kits are a much better choice coverage wise than the 96 watt kits. Also there is a better bulb selection in the 55 watt size. You could easily put a 6x55 watt setup in the canopy of a 90 gallon tank but that would get you a lot of light and IMHO a lot of trouble.
