question about DSM..

so i am almost ready to dry start. plants will be here thurs. next week.

when i am ready to start planting, do i moisten the substrate first or is it better to leave it dry until i am done planting then add the water? or possibly leave it dry and mist while i plant so the plants stay wet? i will be planting dwarf baby tears.
thanks

Yeah but does it matter if I do that before or after I plant?

Adding the water to the substrate will make it easier to plant.

Either way, it doesn't really matter. You'll be adding the water before sealing the tank up, anyway.

Thanks.. I wasn't sure if there was a preference to do it one way or the other.
