Going away for a week

I will soon be going away for a week to Costa Rica (9 days to be exact)

I have both of my tanks on timers so that wont be a problem but is it ok if my tanks go unfertilzed for this period of time?

Drop the lighting and convert to a low-light tank. Turn off the CO2 too.

Yeah Pretty much, Maybe do it all a few days before you go to make sure everything is good... but don't worry too much.

What are you doing for the inhabitants of the tank? What are they?

Gotcha, What is in the tank? They might not even need to be fed. Since it seems overfeeding is usually the worst part about going away

The Discus tank probably has to be fed.

How old and stable is the CRS tank? That will probably be fine without food for a week. or maybe just fed once or twice while you're gone.

The only reason i'm interested is overfeeding us usually what screws us while we're gone, it happened to my 55g a while back, GW, 2 GBR pairs dead, and tons of other fish. Now I don't worry about when i go away for a few weeks on end. I'm all algae eaters now!
