Aqueon evolve 8 replacement light

The stock light is already start to fail. Several of the ind led have gone out completely and the rest are dim. Unfortunately Its only been 6 months if that. I dont see anywhere to purchase a direct replacement? Is there some other light that is similar? I want to stay on the upper end of low light.

Contact the manufacturer. I had the same problem with the light and they replaced it.

Yeah I contacted them and they are very willing to replace it but they want me to send back the defective one before they send out a replacement. That means the plants will be without light for an indeterminate amount of time. Honestly it would be great to have a different light that has either a separate plug for the moon light or was just daylight and i could just purchase a cheap add on moon light.

I've done this before. Just get a regular desk lamp or something that lights up and use it as an alternative light fixture until the new light gets there. Plants can survive a day or two without light, so don't worry much about it.

Thanks and great suggestion! Well it turns out the company is sending a replacement before I send back the defective one (just had to provide image). So gotta give huge props to Aqueon!!!
