So, how many timers you are using.....

Heheheh...this is getting a bit crazy. Currently I have 2 tanks. My high tech tank is using 3 timers already (one for the CO2 soleniod, one for the light, and one for a night time air pump). May require to use a 4th one for adding an additional light to simulate a bright noon sun burst for 4 hours (from 11am to 3pm). In this 4 hours, my light intensity would jump to high light for a short period. Of course, my low tech tank would also need another timer for the light too. So, basically, I would be using 5 timers. Are there any easier, electronic ways to do this?

Every one of my tanks has a timer, a couple with multiples. My main 55g has 4 alone. Plus one for each of my other tanks for lighting, so that makes it 11 plus a few more whenever I get these next couple shrimp tanks set up.

My two big tanks just have an Apex each, and my two small tanks have a light timer each. Not a fan of timers. I use controllers for everything where possible.

I have one Arduino based timer running 4 tanks right now, it's basically just a fancy relay system. If you're into DIY electronics and can do some basic programming, you can pretty much control an unlimited number of functions with a single Arduino and a bunch of relays.

I am using a Profilux controller that used to run my 180 saltwater on my 55. I hate timers.

I have one timer for my high tech 55 gallon tank. It has eight receptacles to it. Four are on all the time and the other four are split so that only two are on at a time. Two for day, two for night so that the lights and co2 are on while the airstone is off and vice versa. My only thought now is how i hear to have the co2 come one and hour before the lights and stop and hour before the lights.
