Dosing Ferts

Hi,
I hoping someone would be kind enough to double check my figures.

Here is what I am hoping to accomplish.

1) I want to Dose Seachem Flourish and Floufish Excel daily.
2) Combined them both in a pump bottle that dispenses 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) per pump.
3) Set up the dosing for 15 gallons per pump.

Now the dosing instructions say:
Flourish:
DIRECTIONS: Use 1 capful (10 mL) for each 500 L (120 gallons*) once or twice a week. For smaller doses, please note that each cap thread is approximately 1 mL. Refrigeration after opening is recommended but not required.
flourish Excel:
DIRECTIONS: On initial use or after a major (> 40%) water change, use 1 capful (10 mL) for every80 L (20 gallons*). Thereafter use 1 capful for every 200 L (100 gallons*) daily or every other day. Dosing may be slowly increased in high-growth aquariums. For smaller dosing please note that each cap thread is approximately 1 mL.

These are in ml. Daily dosing
Seachem Flourish 10 120 Every 3.5 Days Every Day
1.25 15 0.125 0.035714286

Seachem Flourish Excel 10 100 Every 2 Days Every Day
1.5 15 0.15 0.075

Mixing up 300 ml.
Flourish Excel Water Total
ml ml ml ml
Every Day 0.0357 0.075 2.3892 2.5

4.2857 9 286.7 300

Does this make sence?

I hope you plan on dosing some macro nutrients in the tank. Flourish is great for traces. But severely lacking in macros.

I was trying to understand your post but I am having trouble... First off, what tank size is that for? Second, your listing of headers and numbers is very hard to comprehend (for me at least). Maybe simplify things a bit...

You need to figure out how much Flourish and Excel you want to dose daily. Then see how long a bottle fill will last.

Let's say you want to dose 1ml Flourish and 1ml Excel daily. Your bottle would give you 2 months worth of doses. That means you would want to add 60ml Flourish and 60ml Excel, then fill 'er up with water. That's how I would approach it at least.
