Hey, I will be making journal on this tank (Once i get the time).
I just wanted to post a picture to see what you guys think. I just planted the Rotella yesterday so they are still very short.

Hope you like it.

Absolutely gorgeous, and looking forward to the journal! Really interested to hear about how you addressed water movement in this tank.

Thanks guys. I will be working on the journal tonight hopefully posted by tomorrow. I will post a link here for you guys.

This is a custom tank. I got a great deal on it. $140. Font and sides are starfire, Bottom and back just regular. The glass is 1/2 inch giving it a very unique look.

The dimensions are 48"x12"x12"

I have HC as the front carpeting plant, Flame moss as the mid height plant and Rotala sp. as a background plant.

Water movement was a challenge. I am using a 3 layer method. Top layer i am using a AC 150 (on the right side). This keeps the water on top moving. In the middle layer I have a set of lilly pipes set up with a fluval 205. On the bottom layer I am using a mini power head. The power head not only keeps the bottle layer moving it's also used to diffuse my Co2.

Tanks like yours inspire me to bite the bullet, and go rimless, and all glass. Thank you for sharing, it's awesome :-)
