Accent Lighting

I'm getting ready to set up my 90g and I'm thinking about throwing an LED light strip along the back of the tank just above the soil line. Tank will be low tech with a par of about 34. Am I asking for trouble with this? It would likely either be a warm white light or a green light. I'd like to have better light spread across the bottom of the tank but at the same time I don't want to stress the fish or cause algae issues. Thoughts?

Here are the lights to give you an idea.
