So i wake up this morning.......

So i wake up this morning to find my daughter shoulder deep in the tank...
first words out of her mouth "look daddy i am playing with the fishies!"
all in all not the end of the world except half my tank is uprooted and now i have to replant my tank.

Stinks about having to rescape, but you'll always have this cute story... I hope you took pics! Those are great to pull out when her first boyfriend comes over for dinner one day ;-)

I did a low light 20long with crypts and java fern and flame moss for my daughter on her first birthday.(shes almost 3 now) Near her crib, but she cant reach it... Set the timer for 1pm-midnight. makes a perfect nightlight. she feeds the "fish" every night before going into the crib, but shes really droping sinking pellets for the 100 assasin snails lol. Single T8 10000k and no dosing, I dont think Ive done any real maintenance yet this year!

I had this same problem with my neice. Rub her nose in it then put her outside. You have to catch them in the act, though, or else they won't establish a negative association.

you realise 'rub her nose in it', in this case, translates into 'Drown your daughter.'
